today has been spent mainly sorting through every scrap of paper i've accumulated in the past year of grad school....sorting, throwing out, labeling and the like. it has filled me with immense satisfaction. my treasure trove of complete business school drivel is 3/5 complete. only 2 more semesters of bullshit to go. sigh...
i went home to DC for the first Christmas since 1998. smelling the christmas tree, seeing the cabbage patch kid ornament given to me by my deceased uncle swing back and forth, and eating copious amounts of food was nice. i got some great gifts too, very thoughtful....
aj and i visited c&b yesterday to say hi to mike. seeing the store in post-holiday, mid-sale disarray and realizing for the 90th time this season that I had no responsibility for it was liberating (yet again). i really really recommend getting time off around the holidays.
i'm looking forward to my massage & hot tub this new year's eve. yippee! i'm out....
